A group of friends and I had such a horrible time at a local restaurant this past Friday that I wrote about it on Yelp. Here is my review. Seriously, don’t ever go to this place.

Awesome
"OMEGA touch pads and starting blocks are part of an integrated timing system capable of recording times to the nearest 1/1000th of a second. However, because it is not possible to build swimming pools in which each lane is guaranteed to be precisely the same length, Olympic and World Records are still recorded to the nearest 1/100th of a second."

"It's become a bit of a game because this hallway is designed to save energy. So when you walk down it, the lights will switch on and then off after you've passed. So sometimes I'm sitting in the dark answering emails and I try to see how much I can type without triggering the motion sensors again. It's also fun to surprise unsuspecting hotel guests who pop out the elevator and see someone typing in the dark corner. And then he ends up being 'Hurley.'"

Ouch.
Yikes. Harsh but deserved.
Hmmm. I feel sorry for the server, if she paid for a meal out of her own pocket & got stiffed on a check for ten people. Maybe it wasn’t her fault to begin with. Good thing you won’t go back there, because she would probably like to pee in your food.
NYSTG:
Was it maybe not her fault? Sure, maybe. Should she have had to pay for it? Of course not. The management ought to have acknowledged that my friend’s food came out way later than was acceptable and comped it, but it was her job to notify them that there was a problem when we very clearly asked to speak to them. So one of two things happened: 1) either management didn’t give a damn, or 2) she never talked to them in the first place. Given that, what would you have done?
